Incorporation and Early Years
On September 21, 1998, Generation Healthcare was founded with a mission to enhance the quality of long-term care. Initially, the company focused on providing Risk Management Consulting services to long-term care facilities.
A New Direction with Heart
In 2002, Karen Keller joined Generation Healthcare as a shareholder, infusing the company with her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for compassionate care. The company shifted its focus to managing two nursing homes: Kimes Convalescent Center in Athens, Ohio, and Harmar Place in Marietta, Ohio.
Expansion and Growth
2003 - Generation Healthcare took over the operating contract at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehab center in Newark, OH, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility. This became the catalyst for expanding healthcare services to the community, and over the next 20 years, Generation Healthcare grew to provide a wide range of quality healthcare services.
2006 – With the addition of co-owner Randy Keller, the company took over management of Flint Ridge Village, a 77-unit senior living apartment complex.
2007 - Generation Rehab Services was started, providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
2008 - Generation Hospice was launched, providing healthcare services to those with terminal or life-threatening illness.
2013 - Generation Home Health was started, providing healthcare services to those in a home setting.
The Present and Beyond - Today, Generation Healthcare is passionately dedicated to providing exceptional home health and hospice services, ensuring that every patient continues to receive the highest level of personalized care.
